This week, we’re starting to see real momentum building for altcoins.
Bitcoin dominance is softening, hinting that capital is rotating.
The total altcoin market cap is on the rise, backed by improving liquidity and stronger inflows.
Ethereum is leading institutional narratives, with liquid staking and regulatory clarity helping confidence return.
We’re not saying this is the AltSeason just yet - but the signals are louder and clearer than before. If these trends persist, the conditions for a true altcoin breakout could be around the corner.

Macroeconomic Outlook: Fed Sparks Risk Rally
The Federal Reserve just wrapped up its September meeting, and while the rate cut itself wasn’t a surprise, the policy path is. Powell signaled an aggressive cycle of cuts ahead - two more expected this year in October and December, on top of today’s move.
Fed Projections:
GDP growth revised up to 1.6% for 2025 (vs 1.4% in June).
Unemployment steady at 4.5%, but Powell acknowledged a softening labor market.
PCE inflation seen at 3.0% and core PCE at 3.1% by year-end - both higher than current levels, meaning the Fed expects inflation to re-accelerate before cooling.
Why Cut Into Rising Inflation?
Powell emphasized the Fed’s dual mandate - saying risks to employment now outweigh inflation fears. Markets took that as a green light for more easing. Odds of two additional cuts this year jumped from 66% to 83% after the announcement (CME FedWatch).
Powell’s Key Messages:
Cuts are “meeting by meeting”, but the path matters more than a single 25bps move.
Larger 50bps cuts only if policy is “out of place” - no sign of that now.
On financial stability, Powell downplayed bubble risks, saying valuations aren’t “elevated” - effectively brushing off melt-up fears.

CZ Comeback and Coin Shilling
CZ has updated his bio from “ex-Binance” back to “Binance,” implying a potential return to the company in some capacity, though his exact role or purpose remains unclear.
This move comes shortly after reports that Binance is nearing a settlement with the U.S. government. Following the update, the entire BNB ecosystem saw a surge, with significant price growth in $BNB and other Binance alpha coins.
In addition, during his latest remarks, CZ highlighted emerging narratives such as AI and DeSci, suggesting that these sectors could play a major role in the future.
